UN discloses Russian killing of civilians in Mariupol

 "I am shocked at the scale of the destruction, and the numerous violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law that have reportedly been committed in the city," High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet said in reference to the southern Ukrainian port city during a special session. 

"We estimate the civilian death toll in Mariupol to lie in the thousands, while only with time will the true scale of atrocities, casualties and damage become clear," she added.

Estimates of civilian deaths in Mariupol range from 3,500 to 21,000.  It is hard for outsiders to get a count with the Russian operations continuing in the area.  The deaths are attributed to indiscriminate artillery and rocket attacks on the city.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit.
