Russia develops nuclear weapons while using ancient tanks

Russia claims it tested hypersonic Zircon cruise missile
The Zircon warhead test took place at the same time British intelligence is reporting Russian use of outdated, Soviet-era tanks.

They appear to have invested their limited resources in preparing for a nuclear exchange and find themselves short of conventional weapons in their war with Ukraine.
