Climate kooks still in charge at White House

The White House held a brainstorming session on how to combat climate “denialism and delay” even as the Russian invasion of Ukraine fueled pressure on President Biden to end his crackdown on domestic oil-and-gas production.

The White House released Friday a readout from the previous day’s first-ever roundtable discussion held by the Office of Science and Technology Policy [OSTP] on “the scientific understanding of why arguments for delaying action on climate change are appealing and how they can be countered effectively.”

“It’s clear that a variety of special interests have had a vested interest in sowing doubt on climate change and feeding denialism and delay,” said White House senior adviser Neera Tanden in a statement. “We need to confront that reality.”

It is not denialism.  It is history.  

The climate kooks have been serially wrong about climate change or global warming for decades.  The poles are still not ice-free and coastal cities are still not underwater, although if you listened to Al Gore and other climate kooks it should have happened by 2013.   

Biden is now the climate kook in chief.  

He is ruining the US energy business while buying oil from Russia and funding Putin's war machine.  It is strategic incompetence on a grand scale which should not be too surprising since Biden has gone from one strategic blunder to the next while helping US enemies around the world.  From radical Islam in Afghanistan to Putin's Russia he has screwed up and also in effect greenlighted China's goal of taking Taiwan.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit.
