Texas Supreme Court says retailer not responsible for unlawful use of gun it sold

"Landmark" decision: Sports retailer cannot be sued for sale of gun used in mass shooting

The retailer did a proper background check.  Apparently, the Air Force failed to file the appropriate material that should have shown up on a background check that would have disclosed the shooter's troubled past.
