President expresses concern about the social media monopoly

Facebook appears to be the least offensive of the group.
The social media giants are already trying influence the coming election by suppressing conservative speech including that of the President. There is also great distrust of the so called fact checkers on these platforms and in the mainstream media. They do not have any who are obvious conservatives.President Trump signed an executive order targeting social media companies for the way they regulate content on their platforms.Speaking from the Oval Office on Thursday, Trump accused Twitter and other social media giants of repressing free speech."What they're doing is tantamount to monopoly, you can say it's tantamount to taking over the airwaves," Trump said. "Can't let it happen. Otherwise, we're not going to have a Democracy, we're not going to have anything to do with a republic."Trump announced that he is directing his administration to "develop policies and procedures to ensure taxpayer dollars are not going in any social media company that repress free speech."
Trump said he would delete Twitter if there was a "fair press" in the United States but that he refuses to do so because of the wide reach the platform gives him.
