The Clinton-Obama Libyan screw up has made doing a deal with North Korea more difficult

Overthrowing Qaddafi was one of the biggest strategic blunders in history. It turned the country into a failed state and a terrorist haven. It also made it a jumping off point for migration to Europe and the selling of Africans into slavery. John R. Bolton, the new national security adviser, pointed to Libya as an example of how to rid a hostile dictatorial state of its nuclear program. But the violent end of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi is likely to serve as a cautionary tale for Mr. Kim.
