Media still getting it wrong on Comey and Trump

NY Times:

G.O.P. Pressure on Comey Memos May Have Backfired

The deputy attorney general’s decision to release the memos did little to help Republicans undermine the credibility of James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director.
Actually, the memos are revealing an attempt to deceive the President by omission.  There was clearly a lack of candor in Comey's failure to disclose not only the source of the opposition research dressed up to look like an intelligence report but also the content.  If Comey had told the truth everyone would have known up front what a deceitful mess the "dossier: was and who paid for it.

The lack of candor appears to be part of an Obama administration-wide effort to undo the results of an election and tie the hands of the new administration.  The actions of Obama administration officials and the FBI in this matter will be remembered as one of the greatest political scandals in history.

We are also learning that Obama DOJ officials obstructed justice to stop an investigation of the Clinton Foundation on top of their dismissing of her mishandling of classified materials.

Comey's "weasel moves" are catching up with him.
