Trump's overstatement about the plight of blacks in this country trips up Democrat narrative
Rush Limbaugh talked about the Democrat reaction to Trump's speech appealing to blacks. While I am no Trump backer, I thought it was clearly his most coherent speech of the campaign. While Trump's message painted a bleak picture of the existence of blacks in America, he was, in fact, repeating what many Democrats and black race hustlers have been saying for decades.
But after Trump made his pitch, they began to change their tune or tone, if you will. All of a sudden things are not that bad. Maybe all those failed Democrat policies have accomplished something they decided. I don't think Trump was actually mocking them with his speech, but it did seem to scare the daylights out of them that he was using their rhetoric against them.
