Democrats have few strong candidates to run in senate races

The party under the leadership of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi has been decimated with losses not only in congressional races but also in local and statewide races. There has been an overwhelming rejection of liberalism in much of the US. The only reason Hillary Clinton is competitive is that she is running against the one Republican she might be able to beat.
