More noticing Sheila Jackson Lee--Not too smart
Houston Chronicle:
This is not the first time she has embarrassed herself and Texas on TV. When viewing the Mars rover at NASA she asked if it could find the spot where the astronauts landed, confusing Mars with the moon. She has the reputation of being the worst person to work for in Congress with a consequent high staff turnover. For some reason she keeps getting reelected despite her obvious lack of intelligence. Perhaps her district's voters should be tagged as--Not too smart. Liberals have this conceit that only they are smart, but that is obviously not the case with Jackson Lee.
Right-wing bloggers are pouncing on the Texas Democrat’s comments that President Barack Obama should “absolutely” use his executive powers to extend the payroll tax holiday for working Americans and unemployment benefits for those without jobs. During an interview with liberal radio host Ed Schultz, Jackson Lee voiced her frustration over the “ridiculous procedural calamity” she said was caused by House Republicans as Congress attempts to reach a deal.Conservative bloggers begged to differ.“Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Pride of Texas) rambles incoherently on payroll tax cut extension,” wrote theRight Scoop blog. The Spokane Conservative Examiner weighed in, saying, “In short, she wants Obama to rule like a dictator on a matter that falls to Congress.”
...There is much more.
