Media, Democrats mad dogging GOP House
The Hill has a typical headline:
It is ridiculous to say that the President and the Democrats have the moral high ground when they are proposing a two month extension of a tax holiday and the House would do it for a full year. The media has no clothes on this issue. Legal Insurrection also nails it.
BTW, mad dogging is a phrase lawyers use to describe an opponent who continuously barks loud so the other side cannot be heard.
Obama shows he's confident he's beating GOP in payroll tax fightHe and the Democrats are showing their bogus moral preening while being on the wrong side of the issue. The media seems to be playing along with this charade. There is nothing wrong with the House position and there is no reason for the public to reject what they are trying to do. Is there any doubt that voters would be better off if the Senate and the President would adopt the same position as the House Republicans? I just do not think the Senate has the superior position here. In fact their position is much closer to being a disaster.
