Muslim intolerance in Indonesia leads to attacks on Christians
A surge in anti-Christian violence in the satellite cities that ring Jakarta, almost always unpunished, has exposed alarming new fissures in Indonesian society. It has also raised concerns about the commitment of the police and the government to the country's founding principle of religious freedom.There is much more.Over the past few months there have been multiple incidents of churches being stoned, burnt, closed or torn down in Bekasi, Bogor and Tangerang, cities that ring Jakarta and have seen an influx of migrants from across the archipelago.
The forces behind the attacks on Christians are a group of Islamic hardliners who use many different names but are widely believed to be led by the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), which has links to criminal syndicates and the military and a long record of attacking Christians, liberal Muslims, activists for religious tolerance and others who do not share its vision for an Indonesia ruled by sharia.
At a ''congress'' last month, the groups vowed to set up vigilante groups to patrol the streets for evidence of ''illegal'' Christian activity. By illegal, they mean churches and prayer houses that have not received permits from the local government, largely dominated by Islamists.

These are paranoid religious bigots. The government has a responsibility to punish them for attacks on the Christians. The Obama administration needs to make it clear that this conduct will lead to unpleasant consequences if it is not stopped.
OBAMA AVOIDS BIBLE VERSES

Proverbs 19:10 (NIV): "It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury - how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!"
Also Proverbs 30:22 (NIV) which says that the earth cannot bear up under "a servant who becomes king."
And Ecclesiastes 5:2-3 (KJV) advises: "let thy words be few...a fool's voice is known by multitude of words."
Although Obama is not descended from slaves, he may feel that he's destined to become a black-slavery avenger.
Or maybe an enslaver of all free citizens!
For the brain-dead, pro-murder politicians in Washington DeCeased who fix Social Security by voting to abort millions who otherwise could be paying into SS (!), I have two pro-life slogans I thought up:
"Unborn babies should have the right to keep and bear arms - and legs and ears and eyes etc.!" and "Unborn babies should have the same right to be born alive that abortionists had!"
