Palin leads Romeny by 10 in YouGov poll

The Economist:

• Among those who identify with the tea-party movement, 26% support Mrs Palin, 19% choose Mr Romney, 16% go for Mr Gingrich and 15% for Mr Huckabee.

• Over three-quarters (77%) of Republicans have a favourable view of Mrs Palin (17% unfavourable). But 51% of the overall public gives her an unfavorable rating. Anyway, enough about her.

...

It is the best poll I have seen for Sarah Palin. She still must convince some voters she has the ability to perform as President. The good news for her is that Obama has set that bar pretty low so far. I think a Palin-Romney ticket might have broad appeal.

  1. Better than Romney might be Jindal. Romney is too much a made over conservative. Palin would pass on Romney for his health care program.

Think of someone that has a lot of cred with the American voter, that if that person said yes to Palin to be VP, people would say, " Geeez. if ______ thinks Palin is OK then I'm in. "Palin for President." So, who would that be?
