A sense of style?

The NY Times was in full cover up mode when it came to Michelle Obama's outfit.

...

Here is a bolder woman, a serious woman from Chicago and Harvard who is not afraid to express herself with fashion, and it is the kind of confidence that many women will recognize in themselves. Her clothes tell us that she has an adventurous spirit, as well as a sense of humor, and if some of these garments have almost an old-fashioned womanly quality, then they tell us that she is indeed not your average fashionista.

...
I was going to let the outfit go until I saw the camera focus on the green fingers holding the Bible for Barack Obama. Or were they avocado?

At Atlas Shrugs there was less restraint:

A tablecoth? Geez, the kids should dress her. She's a nightmare. Too bad some of Palin's old clothes wouldn't fit her....

...
There is much more. Can you believe the Times lead said Michelle was a "more stylish first lady than the country has seen in a while...." Good grief. That can only be left wing fashion bias.

Here is the Chicago Tribune's gushing review of Michelle's attire. Why do I get the feeling of the guy who was willing to say the King wore no clothes. While Michele had something on it was not that great. If it were not for these gushing reviews, I would have probably said nothing about her outfit and just chalked it up to poor taste. But with major publications pretending that she has great taste it is hard to not disagree with them.
