Israel quickly withdrawing troops from Gaza

Israel plans to have its troops out of Gaza as soon as possible after the weekend cease-fire that ended three weeks of fighting in the Palestinian territory, Israeli officials said Monday.There are several reasons why Israel is able to withdraw its forces so quickly. First, these forces are largely mechanized using tanks and armored personnel carriers. Second the enemy they were fighting has been trying to avoid contact. That means disengagement is pretty simple. Then there is the fact that Gaza is a relatively small space which means it does not take long to move back into Israel. There is also the fact that the Israelis did not set up an occupation regime which would take time to disassemble.An Israeli Foreign Ministry official said that the pullout, which already had begun Sunday, could be finished by Tuesday evening.
The official, who declined to be named, said that the withdrawal could be complete before U.S. President-elect Barack Obama takes his oath of office in Washington at noon ET Tuesday -- 7 p.m. in Israel -- though commanders have not been given that deadline.
The Israel Defense Forces said Sunday that it had begun withdrawing some troops from Gaza, and Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said Sunday that troops would be out in a matter of days, not weeks.

So the Nazis of our day are turning tail now that the white house might not be issuing blanket immunity for murder? How many chldren did they manage to bulldoze this time? My they sure learned a lot from those germans. the story about the Doctor who lost his children is a perfect microcosm of the situation. As long as Israel is allowed to shower death and destruction of the highest level in retaliation for, what equates to a few bottle rockets worth of explosives, we will continue to see this unbalanced and unforgiveable slaughter of innocents at the hands of the Israeli's. The palistinians could do as much or more damage throwing rocks than the pathetic "rockets" they are firing blindly and missing with every day. If you watch closely, you'll see that it takes dozens if not hundreds of attacks to injure or kill 1-2 israeli's- The death toll from the israeli attacks in the meantime are stacking up like a triple overtime score in the nba all star game after every strike- exactly WHOM are we calling the terrorists here?

These people equating Israel with the Nazis have to be insane, and they are mostly from the Left. The Left acting like Nazis and calling for a new Hitler, and for the Jews to go to the ovens, wow! Hitler, someone even most of them would say they hate. The Left, many are anti-semitic Nazis, they should be so proud. The truth is coming out, it is getting harder to hide.
The MSM is insidious, they are instrumental in fanning these flames. We must keep trying to de-brainwash as many people as possible. As the brave Geert Wilders put it recently, "To begin with, there is already a Palestinian state, and that is Jordan. This land covers nearly eighty percent of the historic Palestine. Most residents of Jordan are Palestinians, for instance queen Rania."
Why doesn't Jordan take the poor Palestinians in the West Bank and Egypt control the nut jobs in Gaza?
They don't want them, that's why. They should be made to take them. That may be the only answer.
Hamas is what makes Gaza much worse than it could be. If they would give up the dream of destroying Israel and the Jews and stopped all missiles and suicide bombers, and all terrorist attacks, Israel would welcome doing business with them, and things would be peaceful. But they can't do this as long as they follow their Koran strictly.
There is no negotiating with a mad man, or with Jihadis who want to die to go get their 72 virgins.
I hope Israel doesn't quit too early. If Israel is destroyed, terrorism in the rest of the world will just increase, it will never stop, as long as there are Radical Muslims, or rather, Muslim Fundamentalists; who are appeased, defended, and kissed up to.
