If questions were non substantive why did they bother liberals so much?
Howard Kurtz has a litany of complaints about the questions asked at the Philly debate. Many complained that the questions were non substantive.
I saw where Andrew Sullivan mentioned the environment as an issue of more importance, but recent polling shows that zero percent think that is an important issue in the campaign.
The problem liberals have is they project their concerns and issues on the rest of the voters, but if that were true, they would not have lost so many elections in recent years.
...If voters don't care about those issues, why are liberals so upset the questions were asked? The reality is that they do not want voters to consider those issues, because that consideration would not be favorable to their guy. That is why they and Obama are so upset. If no one really cared about those issues then it would not have mattered.
Obama, for his part, complained about "gotcha games," saying yesterday: "I think we set a new record, because it took us 45 minutes before we even started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people."
