Trump disputes Biden election claim

President-elect Donald Trump isn’t holding back in responding to President Joe Biden’s recent claim that he could have won re-election if he had stayed in the race.
At a New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, Trump, flanked by his wife Melania, addressed the comment directly. “Well, he was way behind, he would’ve really, I assume, not had a chance,” Trump said. The president-elect continued, “He was way behind (Harris) and we won in record numbers. I wish him well.”
Trump’s remarks follow reports that Biden, 82, and his aides have privately expressed regret over his decision to step aside as the presumptive Democratic nominee. He attributed Biden’s struggles to his poor debate performance, which Trump claimed marked the beginning of his rival’s political downfall.

Some may believe that despite his dementia he would probably have been a better candidate than Harris. Harris was actually that bad. The Democrats are going to have to rebuild with newer faces and ideas.
