Wounded Afghanistan War Veteran Joey Jones Goes Scorched Earth on Liz Cheney's 'Trump Dictator' Claims

As my colleague Nick Arama reported, Kamala Harris surrogate and Never Trumper Liz Cheney made claims on X that former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump threatened her and "those who speak against them with death." Cheney posted a snippet of a Trump interview taken totally out of context to shore up her fallacious point.

It has not gone well for Cheney, and she is receiving scorn from both the Left and the Right for her comments and selective showing of the video. Cheney attempted to score political points on the subject of wars that she herself voted for and co-signed. Cheney is still on board for more wars, which is why she is endorsing and campaigning for Kamala Harris. She appears to enjoy the blood on her hands while wearing white gloves in an attempt to hide them.

Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran Johnny "Joey" Jones took to X to go scorched earth on Cheney. In 2010, as an ordinance disposal technician, Jones was deployed to Helmand Province in Afghanistan. During a routine drill, while in the process of destroying explosive devices, Jones mistakenly stepped on a hidden Improvised explosive device (IED), and it deployed. Jones lost both his legs, injured his wrists and right forearm, and after multiple surgeries and massive therapy and rehabilitation, Jones is able to walk with prosthetic legs. Two years ago, Jones celebrated the 12th anniversary of his "Alive Day" while promoting a Fox Nation documentary about those men and women who paid the ultimate price for Jones' and our lives and freedoms.

I was a Marine Corps officer when I was wounded in action in Vietnam near the DMZ.  After being hospitalized for several months I was discharged with a permanent disability.  I then attended law school at the University of Texas and had a career as general counsel to two different companies.  I am not going "scorched earth" on Cheney, but I do disagree with her current position.  I do find it interesting that two women who have never experienced the "sting of battle" are such hawks.
