RON DESANTIS: I think it is ridiculous how much money they pumped in for the Capitol Police. This was not an insurrection. These were people that were there to attend a rally and protest. It devolved into a riot, but the idea that this was a plan to somehow overthrow the government of the United States is not true and it is something the media has spun up to try to get mileage out of it and use it for partisan and political aims. I know there were a lot of people there who were just there, and they didn't have any designs on doing anything.

We just have to be honest about it. If somebody is honestly doing an insurrection against the U.S. government, then prove that is the case and I'll be happy to accept it. But all you're showing me is there were a lot of protesters there and it ended up devolving in ways that were unfortunate of course, but to say they were seditionists is just wrong.

That has been my own opinion of what happened on January 6.  The attempt to suggest it was an insurrection was created by the Democrats and their friends on the far left as a way to attack Republicans and denigrate protesters.  I have seen no evidence that the protesters were engaged in an armed rebellion and were trying to overthrow the government.  Even Joe Biden has said they would need F-16s to accomplish that.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit.
