Biden's plan to give $100 million in benefits to illegals'

Conservative lawmakers are moving to stop a Biden administration plan to give some illegal aliens as much as $100 million on taxpayer-funded health care.

Senator JD Vance (R-OH) and Representative Josh Brecheen (R-OK) sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra demanding he drop ongoing plans to use taxpayer dollars to give away health care to illegal aliens who are under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or “DACA” program.

The Senators wrote in response to a recently proposed Biden rulemaking Medicaid, CHIP, and Obamacare available to these “Dreamers.”

Biden’s plan redefines the term “legally present” in U.S. immigration law, without the approval of Congress, to include “Dreamers,” who are in the U.S. illegally but have been given some legal papers

“The rule, if enacted, would cost taxpayers over $100 million in 2024 alone,” Vance points out

Such a move would incentivize even more illegal immigration.  I suspect Democrats support it because they want to import future votes.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit.
