The FBI's rushed hit job on Trump

 Jeff Dunetz:

...

With that kind of information, the DOJ couldn’t take the time to issue a search warrant, even though the former POTUS was already cooperating. The FBI had to get into Mar-a-Lago very quickly so that no one trades America’s military secrets to China for a lifetime of free Chinese takeout. On top of the secrets, the agent who rummaged through Melania’s closet wanted to bring one of her outfits home for his wife (they had a wedding to go to over the weekend). Two other agents wanted to get home in time to watch America’s Got Talent.

But the Wall Street Journal reported that the speed was unnecessary;

Attorney General Merrick Garland deliberated for weeks over whether to approve the application for a warrant to search former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, people familiar with the matter said, a sign of his cautious approach that will be tested over the coming months.

Wait for a second!

Merrick Garland, the AG, Mr. I don’t want to do anything to make the DOJ look political, sat on the search warrant for a few weeks.  Was it because he wanted to get the raid closer to the mid-terms, or was it because he suspected that Donald Trump was about to announce a run for President? It doesn’t matter either way it stinks. It didn’t need to be done quickly. It was nothing but a fire drill.

Folks, we have to send letters and emails and protest peacefully (without hurting any of those involved). We must let the DOJ and the entire Biden administration know that It is unacceptable for the DOJ and the FBI to become political tools just because they don’t like his politics.

...

Well, their actions certainly did not help the President's political enemies that are pushing the Jan. 6 investigation that few people care about.
