Democrats and their gas prices

A tweet from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) about gas prices is coming back to haunt Democrats six month later as the nation sees record high-gas prices at the pumps.

The DCCC thanked President Joe Biden for lowering the price of gas by approximately two cents on December 2.

The graph showed the price of one gallon of gas declining from $3.40 to $3.38 by Nov. 29.

The average price of gasoline hit $4.62 on Memorial Day. Gas prices are up more than 92% since Biden took office. Gas prices in California hit a high of $7.25, according. to the New York Post.

Meanwhile gas prices averaged $3.05 on Memorial Day of 2021.

The Biden administration has tried to lay the blame of high gas prices and other economic woes on the Russia-Ukraine war. (RELATED: How Biden Raised Gas Prices Without Anyone Noticing)

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm told CNN Biden is “obsessed” with lowering gas prices but that “the president doesn’t control the price.”

Despite Biden’s alleged obsession with lowering gas prices, his administration has declared a war on fossil fuels, canceling all of the nation’s remaining offshore oil and gas lease sales and implementing tight restrictions on future onshore lease sales.

Biden's incredible transition to high prices sucks.  Besides blocking offshore production he is also blocking in Alaska's ANWR region which contains huge quantities.  There is literally no shortage of oil and gas.  There is a shortage of common sense by the Biden administration when it comes to producing it as they try to transition the US to high prices.  To have a transition you need an attractive alternative and Biden has not produced one of those.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
