Democrats think Hispanics have been conned

 Washington Examiner:

...

Misinformation and disinformation have become the Democratic Party’s favorite excuse for election losses and policy failures, so this latest iteration of the spurious claim is no exception. Republicans used Spanish-language ads in Florida to win over Hispanic voters, knocking off incumbent Democrats such as former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who warned that “if we don’t do something about this, it will have a negative impact on the 2022 elections.”

Establishment media dutifully followed. NBC NewsPoliticoNPR, and the Miami Herald all began warning of dastardly Spanish-language “misinformation” and “outlandish conspiracy theories.” The only explanation Democrats and their media allies have for the party losing its grip on Hispanic voters is that those voters simply aren’t smart enough to sift through these alleged conspiracy theories and misinformation campaigns.

Democrats think they own Hispanic voters. They have taunted that the GOP is dying because of demographic change. But that was never a guarantee because, to the surprise of Democratic politicians and “experts,” people are more than their skin color or ethnic heritage. Republicans decided to try and win Hispanic voters the old-fashioned way, by actually appealing to their beliefs and values. That's why they have picked up major victories in Florida and Texas, and more victories are on the horizon.

...

They seem to think that people who speak Spanish won't notice the incompetence and failures of Democrats.  They insult the intelligence of Hispanics with their "misinformation and disinformation" BS.
