Allies ignoring Biden because of Biden and not America

 Fox News:

CNN's Fareed Zakaria said Sunday that America was losing its hold on the world's stage, emphasizing that the signs were "everywhere."

"One of the defining features of the new era is that it is post-American. By that I mean that the Pax Americana of the past three decades is over," the "Fareed Zakaria GPS" host said.

Zakaria pointed to UAE and Saudi Arabia officials’ unwillingness to accept a phone call from President Biden as evidence of American decline.

"You can see the signs everywhere," he said. "Consider that according to The Wall Street Journal the leaders of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, two countries that have depended on Washington for their security for decades, refuse to even take phone calls from the American president."
...

I suspect they are ignoring Biden because he is a threat to their security instead of someone they can depend on.  Biden's attempt to revive Obama's bad deal with Iran is a good enough reason to give him the cold shoulder.  The original deal was one of the worst ever concocted and the latest one was even worse.  Putting the genocidal religious bigots of Iran on the glide path to nuclear weapons and sending them billions is the most nonsensical thing any President has ever done.  Iran is a threat to every country in the Middle East and has threatened genocide against Israel.  Biden also lifted the sanctions Trump had imposed against Iran's allies in Yemen, the Houthis, who had been launching rockets at Saudi cities.

Zakaria should be focusing on Biden's screw-up and not blaming America for them.
