Americans ditched high-tax Democrat-run states for low-tax or no-tax havens mostly governed by Republicans during pandemic: Populations shrink in NY, NJ, California, Illinois and spike in Texas, Florida, Carolinas and Big Sky country

It was not just taxes.  It was also a matter of freedom from liberal control freak policies.

An Iraqi citizen living in Ohio planned to transport ISIS members into the United States “who do not care if they are killed during the mission” to murder former President George W. Bush, according to court filings. Shihab Ahmed Shihab Shihab, 53, believed the former commander-in-chief was to blame for the deaths of countless Iraqis and the country’s destruction during “Operation Iraqi Freedom.” Shihab pled guilty last year to attempting to provide material assistance to terrorists and was sentenced in February to more than 14 years in jail for the scheme, which was detailed in court documents. Shihab served as a gunrunner for al Qaeda during the Iraq War. Greedy government slapped down by Supreme Court ruling

NY Times: States Can’t Keep Criminal Fines of Exonerated, Supreme Court Rules By a 7 to 1 vote, the justices struck down a Colorado law that required people cleared by the courts to file civil suits and prove their innocence. The ruling, in this case, seems logical.   The government should also revise the civil forfeiture rules.
