Fresh produce takes a hit in Texas freeze

 Washington Examiner:

The loss of fruits and vegetables during last week’s cold snap in Texas could lead to shortfalls at food banks and higher prices at grocery stores.

It likely also killed produce in Mexico at the same time.  That produce is usually brought into the US for distribution along with the Texas fruits and vegetables.
