Media and Democrat hysteria along with false allegations of racism backfire

NY Times:

At Rally, President Accuses Liberal Critics of Seeking the Nation’s ‘Destruction’

“These left-wing ideologues see our nation as a force for evil,” Mr. Trump told a packed arena in Greenville, N.C., to a crowd that seemed to relish his comments.
The false allegations of racism over Trump's criticism of the policy positions of four Democrat politicians have been a loser for the Democrats and the media.  The near hysteria in response to his criticism of the Squad has led to a failed vote on impeachment by pushed by intellectual lightweight Al Green who has had an animus against the President since his election.

Trump's criticism of the four led Democrats to embrace them at a time when they were trying to distance themselves from them because their positions are an anathema to the majority of Americans.

The false charges of racism by the media and Democrats should also backfire on them.   There appears to be a deep fear among these critics of the President that they are losing their grip on the black vote because Trump's policies are lifting millions of blacks out of poverty and government dependency.  Democrats fear that without dependency they will no longer be able to lock up the black vote.  That is also why you are seeing so many vote-buying schemes offered by Democrats running for the presidency, from reparations to housing traps.  If blacks can achieve independency from government giveaways the Democrats are in serious trouble.

In 2016, Trump asked blacks what they had to lose if they voted for him.  It turns out it was dependency.  With more blacks getting jobs at any time in hiso=tory that has become the cause for Democrat and media hysteria.

Polling shows the media and Democrat effort to falsely accuse the President of racism was unpersuasive with voters.

In a Rasmussen poll of 1,000 likely voters taken on Monday and Tuesday, a full day after Trump blasted the Squad — which is made up of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — all the important numbers have moved Trump’s way.

To begin with, Trump’s overall job approval rating moved a net eight points in his direction since Monday — from 46 percent to 50 percent approval; and from 52 percent to 48 percent disapproval.

Those who believe Trump is racist dropped from 50 percent in January of 2018, to 47 percent today. A plurality of 49 percent do not believe Trump is racist.

The most interesting number comes from those who say Trump’s “opponents are accusing him of racism only for political gain.” Since January of last year, that number surged from 43 percent to 49 percent.

Incredibly, 32 percent of Democrat dummies believe it’s “racist for any white politician to criticize the political views of a politician of color.” Among the Republican Party and Independents, that number is 16 percent.
...
It is obviously racist to think it is wrong to criticize "politicians of color."  That is just not an intelligent position.
