Scott Walker changed the business climate in Wisconsin. He put up signs saying the state of Wisconsin was open for business. Before he took office only 10 percent said they were heading in the right direction. Now 94 percent say they are heading in the right direction. The CEO survey of states have moved Wisconsin from 41 to 24.
Wisconsin also handled its fiscal crisis that has changed from deficit to surplus. Illinois raised taxes and made things worse.
Unions are angry because he did away with automatic deductions, which became part of the corrupt bargain between Democrats and union leaders. The unions also lost their health insurance monopoly that was sticking it to the taxpayers.
Walker now faces a recall election because the unions want their corrupt bargain reinstated. There is a grass roots movement that is contributing to Walker's campaign. They may help defeat Obama too.
