Democrats strangling the largest resources in the world

Energy Tomorrow:

Did you know that the United States has largest energy resources on Earth? You might be surprised to learn that a recent Congressional Research Service (CRS) report found just that.

The United States with its 1,321 billion barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) tops number 2 Russia with 1,248 billion BOE, and number 3 Saudi Arabia with 543 billion BOE.

The report also found that the United States has tapped into only 13 percent of these energy resources, with the other 87 percent still untouched....

...

This chart shows the graphic details. I have been arguing for sometime that Democrats have been strangling domestic production and this data makes the case so clear that it will be hard to ignore. This policy has the effect of also stifling American jobs and driving up the cost of energy. It also has meant reduced revenues for governments at a time of incredible deficits.

All these bad results are happening because Democrats are pushing a policy of promoting "magic" energy that is supposed to make things better and create more jobs. It has utterly failed and one way you can tell that is Democrats are trying to manipulate the market in order to push their magic energy. If it were any good it would not need market manipulation.

That they are using market manipulation is ironic since they have claimed private business is manipulation the market every time the prices go up. In fact it is their strangulation of domestic production that is driving up the price of energy. This manipulation by the Democrats has had a devastating effect on the recreational vehicle business as well as the auto business. It could have the same negative effect on production of electricity in the future.

It is time to unleash the energy potential of this country.
