The choice between liberals
David Limbaugh:
But my biggest issue is the war. After the Democrats screwed up Vietnam and were proud of the mess they made, I determined never to vote for them again and to work for their defeat. On the issue of winning in Iraq a case can be made for supporting McCain over any Democrat in the race. Winning in Iraq will discredit liberalism like no other issue.
They have embraced defeat and staked the future of their party on the issue. We should beat them, and the enemy and help destroy the Democrats credibility on national security for generations to come. I think it is the choice Reagan would make. It is certainly my choice.
If it is unpatriotic for Democrats to campaign for our defeat in Iraq, it is equally unpatriotic for Republicans to put their differences with McCain ahead of supporting the troops and winning the war. If Republicans put their disagreements on policy ahead of victory in Iraq shame on them. What we have to do is to let McCain know the limits of his mandate. It does not extend much beyond winning the war and limiting spending.

He will be a troublesome President who will make a lot more enemies than friends. If I vote for him, it will be reluctantly.
