The surge

This doesn't look like the picture that the media and the anti war politicians would describe on what is happening during the surge in Iraq, although some media reports have indicated that the troops have been well received in many areas, opening their doors to them. Reports have also indicated a significant drop in violence in Baghdad since the surge began.
