Hillary looks for suppliers for China to replace Iran

...It seems a little late for this, and it is strange that China did not take the initiative to do it before it balked at an increased sanctions regime against Iran. Perhaps China did not mention that it was their real concern in opposing sanctions until now. Certainly there is excess supply out there at this time. There is probably enough being warehoused in tankers to meet China's needs.
To help convince Beijing of the need to act, Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, is due to fly to Qatar and Saudi Arabia this weekend, in part to discuss assurances the Gulf states could give China that its oil and gas needs would be met during the sanctions period.
