Country trust military more than Congress

NY Times:

Americans trust military commanders far more than the Bush administration or Congress to bring the war in Iraq to a successful end, and while most favor a withdrawal of American troops beginning next year, they suggested they are open to doing so at a measured pace, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News Poll.

... Asked to choose between the administration, Congress and military commanders, 21 percent said they would most trust Congress and 68 percent expressed the most trust in military commanders.

Some Democrats took issue with the characterization of General Petraeus as operating free of influence from the administration.

“I don’t think he’s an independent evaluator,” Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California, said on “Fox News Sunday.” A White House spokesman, Tony Fratto, responded sharply, saying, “Attacking him in this way is reprehensible.”

The poll also showed the effect of the unceasing attacks on the President by the most disloyal opposition in war time in history. This story and others suggest that the democrats are willing to turn the same venomous attacks on military leaders in order to secure their desperation for defeat. The current democrat party is willing to say and do anything to insure our defeat in this war and history should judge them harshly. The American people need to wake up to what the disloyal opposition is doing.

I am reasonably sure that the 32 percent who do not trust the military are Democrats who make up the kook base of the party that is the driving force behind their desperation for defeat. They should be ashamed.

    The question is how do we nullify the cowards (actually cowards is not an accurate description but I can't think of anything that is worse while still being germane.) We need to replace the entire congress and bitch slap their supporters.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
