The NY Times stilling pushing irrational fear of Trump

The New York Times hopes to incite Republicans to vote for Democrats with a much-noted column published Tuesday, "We Are Republicans. There's Only One Way to Save Our Party From Pro-Trump Extremists." Written by Miles Taylor and former New Jersey Republican governor Christine Todd Whitman, the article is yet another attack on Trump and "Trumpism."

This year we joined more than 150 conservatives — including former governors, senators, congressmen, cabinet secretaries, and party leaders — in calling for the Republican Party to divorce itself from Trumpism or else lose our support, perhaps with us forming a new political party.


Taylor previously appeared on the op-ed page of The New York Times, September 5, 2018, with an anti-Trump screed written anonymously, but claimed to be from a high-ranking official, titled: "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration." He was chief of staff in the Department of Homeland Security at the time, serving from 2017 to 2019. On October 20, 2020, he admitted his authorship of the anti-Trump column.

There is more.  

These people make up a ting section of the Republican base.  You could probably get them all in a large living room while the Trump base can fill up football stadiums.  They seem to fear the people.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
