U.S. all fatalities in Afghanistan only
The years with the highest number of casualties are during the Obama Presidency.  Some of this year's casualties are reported to have been by inside attacks by Afghan troops.  While every death is regrettable, the number of US casualties in Afghanistan is likely less than the number of troops killed in highway accidents in the US.  The casualties are significantly less than we experienced in Vietnam.  The Marine Company I was Executive Officer for had around 8 KIA on the day I joined the company.  I saw their bodies waiting for removal as I got off a chopper.  The NVA was supplied by the Chicoms and the Russians.
