Texas is not sending people with COVID-19 to nursing homes to infect and kill the elderly

NY Times:

As Coronavirus Slams Houston Hospitals, It’s Like New York ‘All Over Again’

The death toll is lower, but there are echoes of March as cases spike, doctors fall ill and supplies run short. Now, Texas is trying to adapt hard-won lessons while addressing a new set of challenges.
The hospitals in Houston that are jammed with patients are the ones who treat the area where many of the protesters congregated fro Floyd's funeral.  For some reason, the media is trying to avoid that cause and effect.  The good news is that most of these cases do not involve people with the underlying conditions that make the disease fatal.  You can be sure that if there was a spike in Tulsa after Trump's rally that would be the main story.
