The French revolution against 'climate change' policies

It is what happens when control freak government policies are imposed against the will of the people. It is at the heart of this whole global warming movement as a way to impose unpopular policies on people "for their own good." It is similar to what the totalitarian communist did when they seized power in countries.
The riots should be seen as a revolt against control freak governments. If the Democrat "climate change" true believers raised the price of gas over $6 a gallon in this country they would probably never win another election outside of a few cities like New York.
Neither the French government or the NY Times is willing to focus on the underlying reason for this revolt. It is clearly in response to taxes levied as a way to control the use of fossil fuels by those who think CO2 causes global warming.
