Media overlooks that Democrat in VA adopted Trump's position on sanctuary cities and statues to win

Virginia Rejects Your Hateful Politics, Mr. Trump


Turns out the center can hold, after all.
Sometimes liberals see and hear what they want to see and hear and disregard the facts that do not support their thesis.

One of those facts is that when Gillespie adopted the Trump position on sanctuary cities the polls started moving dramatically in his direction and Northam changed his position to also oppose sanctuary cities in order to win the contest.

He also adopted Gillespie's position of the statures that was popular with Virginia voters.

If the center "holds" it is because Democrats abandoned some of their core positions and moved closer to the Trump positions.  That is something that editorial writers who hate Trump choose to ignore.

Speaking of hateful politics, consider what Northam did when Gillespie started closing in on him.  It well beyond his flip-flop on sanctuary cities implying that Gillespie supporters wanted to run over kids of illegals and Muslims.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
