Where did media get the idea that CIA was 'apolitical'?
NY Times:
I don't recall too many leaks from intelligence agencies that were designed to undercut liberal Democrat presidents. But they were routine in the George W. Bush administration despite his backing of the agency for its failure to predict the 9-11 attacks and its wrong analysis of Iraq WMD. The leaks against President Trump have been even more unprecedented. I guess the Times idea of being "apolitical" is to attack conservative Presidents.Partisan C.I.A.
