The major difference in the fact check is that Democrats get a pass when they do things

NY Times:
Stories of Foreign Election Influence, Separate and Not Equal

There are important distinctions between Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer and two stories some conservatives cited about Democrats and the Clinton campaign.
There are many stories pointing out Democrat collusion with foreign adversaries. From Ted Kennedy in the 1984 campaign and John Kerry talking to the North Vietnamese during the Nixon administration.  Some have raised the Clinton campaign cooperative relationship with Ukraine in the recent election.

What is consistent is the liberal double standard and the attempt of liberal fact checkers to justify it.  It is one of the reasons why I have become suspicious of the whole fact check business as just another way to express liberal bias and moral preening.  Moral preening seems to be the posture of liberals when the facts are not sufficient to support their agenda.
