ISIS Afghan leadership killed in drone strike

Washington Post:
Head of ISIS in Afghanistan killed in drone strike, U.S. officials say

A Pentagon statement said that other Islamic State members were also killed in the July 11 operation in Kunar Province and said that it “will significantly disrupt the terror group’s plans to expand its presence in Afghanistan.”
ISIS's bench is certainly being tested as more of its leaders are being taken out.  The assertive approach against the Islamic religious bigots under Trump appears to have a significantly more robust operational tempo that gives the enemy little time to catch its breath between attacks.

It is a much smarter approach than Obama's micromanagement by amateurs approach which slowed operations and created missed opportunities.
