Do Democrats see Trump as a bigger obstacle to their power than Russia?

An image of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia was projected on a screen during an economic forum in St. Petersburg this month. There is no evidence that Russia has stopped trying to meddle in the American electoral system.
Security experts worry that the focus on the battle between the president and the former F.B.I. director will divert attention from Russian intervention.
Where this case went off the rails came when the Democrats decided to lay off their losses on a bogus Trump collusion with the Russians narrative.  Comey's mishandling of the investigation and his animosity toward Trump contributed to the problem.

The media is also at fault in pushing the bogus narrative because of their own hatred of Trump.  They are both putting their emotional response to Trump above the good of the country.

In parts of the Democrat establishment, this has devolved into a coup attempt against the President.  With their Russian collusion theory falling apart they have pivoted to a ridiculous claim of obstruction of justice even though there is no real case to obstruct.

  1. For the Left, the Russians and ISIS have always been the Opposition. The Republicans have always been the real Enemy.
