California dreaming?

LA Times:
L.A.'s crisis: High rents, low pay, homelessness rising and $2,000 doesn't buy much
That’s kind of how things are going in Los Angeles. Rents have risen while pay remains flat, the homeless population is growing, and some folks consider themselves fortunate to live in a car.
Much of the housing stock is old, dated and tiny.  Building restrictions have led to unaffordable housing.  Instead of dealing with this in a rational manner, Democrats are focused on pushing an unaffordable single payer healthcare plan that will lead to the rationing of healthcare.
