Mexico attempts to subvert US immigration law

NY Times:

Fearful Immigrants Flood Mexican Consulates in U.S.

As a crackdown on illegal immigrants begins, Mexico’s 50 consulates in the United States are moving quickly to help their nationals seeking assistance.
Mexico is fearful of losing the US as a dumping ground for its failure to create a domestic economy that can sustain its population.  It is deliberately trying to overload the immigration courts in the vain hope that it will change the minds of the administration about enforcing immigration law.  This is the act of a hostile power trying to subvert US law.  It deserves condemnation and more.
