Republicans in House respond to voter dislike of Dem healthcare law

Washington Post:
House votes along party lines to take first step to repeal Obamacare

The measure, which had already been passed by the Senate, will allow Republicans to use special budget procedures to repeal major parts of the Affordable Care Act without cooperation from Democrats. A handful of Republicans voted with Democrats against the measure.
Republicans are in the majority now because of the anger Democrats generated by their party line vote for Obamacare in the first place.  It has not gotten any more popular since then.

It was sold on a lie that if you like your plan you can keep it and if you like your doctor you can keep them.  BNoth were blatant lies.  For people who actually have t pay for their own healthcare insurance, it has been an absolute disaster.  Their premiums are higher than their mortgage in many cases and they are stuck with a deductible to match it.

The only people to benefit from it are those who don't have to pay for it, while the middle class is being gauged.  The Democrats do not care about the people they have screwed in the process of buying votes.
