5 dead after gunman opens fire at Fort Lauderdale airportWhen a shooter goes into a public space and starts attacking people he does not know, it is an indication of a terrorist attack. It will be interesting to find out what religion if any, the shooter adheres to. The shooter was apparently shooting people in the head and shooting people who were already down. That sounds like the shooter at the Florida gay bar who had pledged allegiance to ISIL.
Several other people were injured and hospitalized after the attack in the baggage-claim area of the terminal housing Delta and Air Canada. A suspect was in custody, according to a sheriff's department spokeswoman. The airport has been closed, and all flights were suspended.
