Apparent terrorist attack at Florida airport

Washington Post:
5 dead after gunman opens fire at Fort Lauderdale airport

Several other people were injured and hospitalized after the attack in the baggage-claim area of the terminal housing Delta and Air Canada. A suspect was in custody, according to a sheriff's department spokeswoman. The airport has been closed, and all flights were suspended.
When a shooter goes into a public space and starts attacking people he does not know, it is an indication of a terrorist attack.  It will be interesting to find out what religion if any, the shooter adheres to.   The shooter was apparently shooting people in the head and shooting people who were already down.  That sounds like the shooter at the Florida gay bar who had pledged allegiance to ISIL.

The alleged shooter has been identified as Esteban Santiago who was a passenger that deplaned in Fort Lauderdale from a flight originating in Alaska. He had served as a combat engineer in the National Guard.  The gun was apparently in his checked baggage.
