Biden reveals his anti-energy left policy

 Washington Examiner:

Democratic nominee Joe Biden said he would transition away from the oil and gas industry over time as part of his climate plans, opening the door to Trump campaign criticism in the election’s final stretch.

“I would transition from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said during back-and-forth sparring with President Trump over climate change during Thursday night’s debate.

“That’s a big statement,” Trump said in response.

“It is a big statement,” Biden added. He then said that oil “pollutes significantly” and “has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.” Biden also said he would end federal subsidies for oil.

 Trump, previewing a message his campaign is likely to use in the next week and a half, argued Biden was admitting that “he’s going to destroy the oil industry,” calling on Texas and Pennsylvania to “remember that.”

Already, some oil-state Democrats running in tight races are distancing themselves from Biden's comments.

Biden also lied about his statements on fracking during the primary.  Many Democrats may be true believers about their energy policy but they are not living in the real world.  Their policies would drive up the cost of energy the way they have in California and would make the US national security more vulnerable.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
