Houston Methodist Hospital appears to be winning fight with the virus
NY Times:
The hospital remains open to patients without the virus by isolating the patients with the disease in a special unit. Patients without the virus are tested for it before being admitted. The hospital has found an effective treatment for the most vulnerable who have been placed on ventilators. The hospital does have an accelerated treatment regimen for non-virus patients. I recently had to go to one of their emergency treatment centers and there were no other patients waiting for treatment when I arrived. They did some immediate testing for my high blood pressure and eventually transferred me to one of their hospitals for extensive testing.
The Times was given exclusive access to the Covid medical I.C.U. at Houston Methodist Hospital. Meet five patients and the staff working to heal them.
