A short-term memory problem at The NY Times?

Fox News:
An opinion piece published in The New York Times on Saturday that incorrectly asserted it has "been 36 years since a man and woman ran together [in a presidential election] on a Democratic Party ticket" was immediately panned on Twitter, prompting The Times to delete its tweet and correct the column.
The article, written by Opinion Columnist Maureen Dowd, is titled "No Wrist Corsages, Please" and asks the question, "Has America grown since 1984, or will the knives still be out for [Joe] Biden’s running mate?"
"It’s hard to fathom, but it has been 36 years since a man and a woman ran together on a Democratic Party ticket. To use Geraldine Ferraro’s favorite expression, 'Gimme a break!'" she wrote.
The piece also was promoted on the NYT Opinion Twitter account, quoting Dowd.
However, many pointed out that Virginia Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine was chosen as Hillary Clinton's running mate just four years ago.

As much as the Times may wish to forget the Clinton fiasco it is not going away.  Down was obviously thinking about a ticket with a man at the top.  When you consider Biden’s dementia problem, a victory would probably lead to a woman at the top judging by the Vp search criteria of the Democrats.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
