Democrats try to pretend that everyone knew about virus contagiousness in early January

NY Times:

Alarm, Denial, Blame: The Pro-Trump Media’s Coronavirus Distortion

Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and other right-wing commentators turned a pandemic into a battle of us vs. them — the kind of battle President Trump has waged for much of his life.
Conservative media has been responding to the bad faith attacks on the President by much of the media and especially Democrats.  The Lid exposes the Democrat scam this morning.  Jeff Dunitz responds to a lie by Joe Scarborough and in the process exposes other Democrats who are pushing the lie like CNN.
Joe Scarborough’s lie of the day for Wednesday, was that unlike Trump, “Everybody saw this [Covid-19] coming in early January.” It can’t be everybody, because Scarborough didn’t see it coming. And when people pointed out that he wasn’t being truthful, Morning Joe whined about being attacked. Joe Scarborough lies

It started with Morning Joe’s program, which I understand is still on TV.
Tom Elliot went on to point out that people who live in liberal networks shouldn’t throw stones
Glenn Greenwald tracked Joe’s Twitter....
There is much more.

There has been a bogus attempt to rewrite history and pretend that Trump should have moved against the virus quicker.  But there is plenty of evidence that Democrats from Biden to leaders in Congress who openly opposed the steps he took to contain the virus and called him racist for his travel bans.  These bad faith attacks are typical of Democrat responses to anything the President does.  I find them dishonest and disgusting.  To the extent that some conservatives tried to downplay the dangers of the virus, they are no different from Pelosi and other Democrats who did so and many of those Democrats urged people to ignore the threat and go to large gatherings that resulted in the spread of the disease.

Scarborough is just like Acosta at CNN trying to rewrite history to facilitate political attacks on the President rather than joining with him to try to defeat the coronavirus.  Their conduct shows they have become partisan to the core and are also unpatriotic in a time of crisis.  David Harsanyi asks why Scarborough didn't say anything about it if he knew there was a pandemic?
